Privacy policy
Last updated 21 October 2026
This is the personal website of Julian Neagu, based in London, UK. I am responsible for any personal data collected through it. You can reach me at julian@visionvix.com.
What I collect
- Analytics, only if you accept cookies. Google Analytics 4 tells me which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from (country and city level), the device and browser, and how people arrive (for example from a search or a link). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
- Emails and messages you send me. If you write to me, or send a message through the contact form in the 3D tour, I receive your name if you give it, your email address, the language you chose, what you want to build and whatever you include in the message.
- Server logs. The hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP address and request time, to run and protect the site.
I do not use advertising cookies, I do not sell data and I do not build profiles of visitors.
Why I use it
- Analytics: to see which parts of the site are useful and improve them. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Emails: to reply to you. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering messages.
- Server logs: to keep the site working and secure. The legal basis is legitimate interest.
Search engine tools
I use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools to see how the site appears in search results. These work from search engine data and do not place cookies on your device or track you on this site.
Who processes the data
- Google (Google Analytics 4), which may process data outside the UK under standard safeguards.
- Vercel, which hosts the site.
- My email provider, for messages you send.
- Formspree, which delivers messages from the contact form to my inbox.
How long it is kept
Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Emails are kept for as long as the conversation is useful and then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period by the host.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, object to its use, or withdraw consent. Email julian@visionvix.com and I will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how your data is handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
